This full-day workshop is part of the EPIX Workshop Series and aims to build inter- and transdisciplinary bridges by bringing together scholars who might otherwise not often have the chance to engage in dialogue on data ethics. Therefore anyone interested is invited to join the conversation, regardless of disciplinary or methodological background.

- Embedding data ethics into practice and education
- Power and governance
- Research ethics, AI ethics, and their relation to data ethics
- Identification of current gaps and needs in data ethics
- Epistemic and ontological perspectives on data
Format: 20-minute presentations plus 10 minutes of discussion (in person)

Call for contributions: If you would like to present at the workshop, please contact the organizers by September 21, 2025—or earlier, as submissions are considered on a rolling basis.
Registration: The workshop is free of charge, but registration is required as slots are limited. Registration is open until November 1, 2025.
