Initiated in 2016 by Prof. Kevin Heng and Prof. Didier Queloz, the Exoplanet Conferences are an international series of large meetings that prioritize exoplanet science as the main focus.

Co-founded by Prof. Dr. Kevin Heng in collaboration with Prof. Dr. Didier Queloz of Cambridge University ( Nobel Prize in Physics, 2019), the Exoplanet Conferences are an international series of large meetings that prioritize exoplanet research as the main focus and cover all fields of exoplanet science. The first edition of the meeting was held in Davos, Switzerland in 2016. Further editions were held in and Cambridge (2018), Heidelberg (2020), Las Vegas (2022) and Leiden (2024). The next one is scheduled for 2026 in Porto and then in 2028 in Munich.
