The Munich Center for Teacher Education (MZL) awarded the “LMU Inclusive – A Certificate for Inclusion” for the first time. The program was introduced in the winter semester of 2024/25 in conjunction with “BAS!S – Basic Competencies in Inclusion” and is aimed at teacher education students from all types of schools.

To earn the certificate, participants complete lectures, seminars, workshops, and practical experiences, and engage in reflective exploration of inclusion and diversity. The first graduate gained practical experience, in part, through an observation placement at a secondary school. The certificate attests to additional competencies in working with heterogeneous learning groups.
