Cornelia Ruppert works as a research assistant at the Chair for Special Education - focus on Hearing and Communication, including inclusive education. There, she trains prospective teachers and educators to work with deaf and hard-of-hearing people. “Improving sign language education is a cause close to my heart,” she says. In addition, she is conducting research as part of a DFG-funded project on the linguistic, cognitive, and social-emotional development of deaf, hard-of-hearing, and hearing preschool-aged children.
