Project description
The project is a pre-clinical (“bench”) study analyzing the tolerability of misalignment in fenestrated endovascular aortic repair. The main aim is to understand the maximum degree of misalignment tolerated in fenestrated aortic endografts.
The project will start by developing the pre-clinical model in order to deploy the grafts and perform the procedures. This will be followed by performance of “mock” complete fenestrated endovascular aortic repairs at different misalignment degrees and analysis of technical success, stent deformity and flow dynamics.
