At our personalized career events, you can expect to meet HR managers, decision makers and existing employees representing the industries and professions you want to attract. A variety of event formats reveal new routes to that dream job, open doors and help you to make the right career decisions. We guarantee an intimate and relaxed atmosphere at our events — leaving you free to put that elusive career network in place.

We specifically welcome students from all degree programs at our events, irrespective of academic degree and regardless of where exactly you are in your studies. These events are free of charge for LMU students.

Our Career Events are primarily aimed at LMU students. Students from other Munich universities are also welcome to attend the open parts of the fairs and the Meet & Greet. Please understand that we can only offer the personal counseling services and seminars to LMU students.

Our Career Events

Discuss current career topics with company representatives. Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to get to know up to 30 companies in one-on-one meetings. more

Under the motto Diversity & Career, you will get to know around 30 companies from different industries. You will sound out your personal career opportunities in one-on-one interviews. more

This event is for all students who are interested in working in an international environment. more

At these events focused on specific industries, you'll get to know up to 30 companies and their career opportunities one-on-one. more

Complete a one-week micro internship at a company of your choice. At the final event, you will get to know up to 30 companies in one-on-one interviews. more

Get to know one company and the job opportunities up close. After the company presentation, there will be an opportunity to network over snacks and drinks. more

In a group of about 20 students, we visit local companies. Get to know the companies up close, business & networking lunch included. more

Golf, trips to the theater and museums. Expand your career network in a pleasant atmosphere. All are welcome, regardless of previous cultural experience, course maturity and handicap. more

Our Workshops and Seminars

Every Monday, you have the opportunity to develop and expand your professional, methodical and social skills in a seminar or workshop. more

For all disciplines: Get practical insights into the world of business administration from a consultant's perspective. more

In this seminar series, you will learn the basics of a programming language and how to work with AI applications. No previous knowledge is required. more

Checklist and hints for attending our events as a student

  • Arrive on time for check-in and, if applicable, for event appointments announced in advance and on site.
  • If you are unable to attend, be sure to cancel.
  • Dress code: Come as you are! In the range from casual to business casual you are usually right.
  • Find out about the participating companies in advance and prepare questions.
  • Practice in advance to introduce yourself personally and your previous career in about two minutes. This will be greatly appreciated alongside your questions at the company booths.
  • Visit companies on site that you have not previously known. It is very common to discover new career paths at our events.
  • Regardless of what you are studying and what semester you are in, approach the company representatives on site with confidence and authenticity. They are there to get to know you.
  • Network with the people you meet at the event via XING and/or LinkedIn.
  • You can also contact them after the trade fair and ask questions, for example, about job applications.
  • When applying for jobs afterwards, be sure to refer to the event and the person from the company you may have met there. This is an important door-opener!
