ECTS-Grading ("Rankings") and Distribution of Grades

Here you can find ECTS grading tables (“rankings”) and overviews of the distribution of grades for examinations in: business administration, business education, economics.

ECTS overviews ("rankings") and grade distribution

Since winter semester 2017/2018 an ECTS grading table has been published for each degree program. This replaces the relative "ECTS grades" A to E previously recommended by the EU as part of the study reform. This means that the previous ECTS grading scale, which was based on a predefined percentage structure, has been replaced by a simple statistical table for each degree program or module (seeGerman Rectors' Conference).

These ECTS overview tables show the distribution of the overall grades of the respective degrees in the named degree program. The calculation is based on the overall grades of those graduates whose certificates were issued in the reference period shown.

(The ECTS grading tables show the achievements with one decimal place. The calculation cuts off after this first decimal place. It is not rounded. With an average of 1.96, for example, you can place yourself in the line "up to 1.9").
