Sitting still for hours can be just as exhausting for students as it is for faculty. Yet movement is more than just a way to break up a lecture — it’s a powerful tool to boost attention, foster collaboration, and support deeper learning.
In this interactive seminar, you’ll discover how to bring energy and motion into your teaching without losing focus on your course content. Together, we’ll explore practical movement-based methods — from quick energizers and interactive group activities to didactically embedded movement tasks that enhance understanding. You’ll have the chance to try out a variety of techniques, reflect on how they fit your subject area, and design movement elements for your own classes.
