Teaching 101 - Introduction to lesson planning

Termin:

Di.:
09:00 - 17:00 Uhr

8. Dezember 2026

Ort:

In person

Good teaching rarely happens by accident — it's designed. Whether you're stepping into the classroom for the first time or looking to bring more structure and intention to your teaching, this workshop gives you the practical tools to plan lessons that work.

Over the course of the day, you will practice formulating clear, measurable learning objectives using Bloom's Taxonomy, explore the AVIVA+ model as a practical multi-phase framework for structuring your lessons, and explore a range of concrete teaching methods for each phase — ready to use in your own context. You will leave with a solid understanding of the key principles of effective lesson design and a practical toolkit to plan your lessons with more intention and confidence.

Key objective:

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to apply key principles and frameworks of effective lesson design to plan intentional, learner-centered lessons in their own teaching context.

Learning targets:

The participants will be able to...

  • formulate clear, measurable learning objectives for their own courses using Bloom's Taxonomy
  • explain the AVIVA+ model and use it to structure a lesson into coherent, purposeful phases
  • select appropriate teaching methods for each phase of the AVIVA+ model and match them to their own learning objectives
