Welcome to the Center for Leadership and People Management
Founded in 2007 as part of the LMU Excellence Initiative, the Center for Leadership and People Management (CLPM) offers scientifically based personnel development programs in the areas of self-management, leadership, and teaching skills, specifically for the academic staff of LMU. The focus is on linking research and practice.
News
- July 2026: The CLPM will be closed for its summer break from August 10 to August 21, 2026.
- July 2026: Together with the DigiLLab at LMU, the CLPM hosted a panel discussion on the topic "AI and Schools – What Do We Know? Where Are We? Where Do We Want to Go?"
- July 2026: Our seminar program for the summer semester 2026 has ended. Starting in mid-September, you can register here for the seminars in the winter semester 2026/2027.
- March 2026: Our CLPM Academic Leadership Toolkit is now online, offering materials and tools for academic leadership and collaboration.
- January 2026: We offer support in appointment procedures by assessing interdisciplinary competencies.
Our Training and Consulting Services
We offer around 40 seminars per semester, individually tailored training sessions upon request, as well as advisory formats such as coaching, conflict counselling, and support in appointment procedures. You can find our services here.
