Under the overarching theme of “disruptions”, the congress focuses on the social, institutional, and individual upheavals shaping education and upbringing—from experiences of crisis and processes of transformation to questions of continuity and new beginnings.
The wide-ranging conference program includes high-profile keynote addresses, numerous symposia, working groups, research forums, and poster presentations. It addresses central themes in educational science, such as educational equity, digitalization, inclusion, the professionalization of educational practitioners, and the role of education in times of global challenges. The academic program is complemented by a variety of exchange and networking formats as well as a cultural program.
As the host, the LMU Faculty of Psychology and Education plays a key role in shaping the content and organization of the conference. Numerous faculty members are contributing through presentations, symposia, and discussion forums, thereby playing a decisive role in shaping the discourse on the congress theme. The faculty’s expertise is particularly reflected in interdisciplinary perspectives that integrate educational science, psychology and education.
