Psychology Ph.D. Candidate Maximilian Frank Awarded DGPs Prize

Frank is pursuing his Ph.D. at the Department for Psychology as part of the DFG Priority Program META-REP and is conducting research on heterogeneity estimation in meta-analyses.

For his commitment to advancing quality assurance in psychology, Maximilian Frank has been awarded the German Psychological Society’s (DGPs) Quality Assurance in Psychology Award. With this award, the professional association honors early-career researchers who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to advancing psychological research and scientific standards.

The award underscores the importance of transparent, reliable, and forward-looking procedures in psychological science. Through his work, Maximilian Frank contributes to the further development of quality standards and promotes the exchange of information on good scientific practice.

The award will be presented on September 7, 2026, during the 54th Congress of the German Psychological Society in Luxembourg. Through its awards, the DGPs honors outstanding achievements in research, teaching, science communication, and the promotion of early-career researchers.
