How students participate in our work
As a university facility, we involve future psychotherapists in our work. Through teaching therapies, internships and assistant positions, they gain valuable insights into therapeutic practice.

"Praktische Tätigkeit 1" as part of psychotherapy training
Participants in the training programme to become a psychological psychotherapist can complete "Praktische Tätigkeit 2" at the university outpatient clinic. We offer this on a part-time basis (16 hours per week). In 2027, three PT2 positions will start on the following dates: 1 August 2027, 1 September 2027 and 15 November 2027. Please state in your application which start date(s) you are interested in. Please send your application as a PDF file to the Executive Director of the University Outpatient Clinic, Dr Herzog, who is also available to answer any queries you may have. The application deadline is 31 January 2027.
Internships as part of psychology degree programmes
We offer psychology students the opportunity to complete compulsory internships with us as part of their studies (during the semester and part-time). As soon as we have another internship position available, we will post the information here.
Working as a student assistant
Students can also gain valuable insights into the psychotherapeutic practice of a university outpatient clinic by working as student assistants. They support us in organisational processes, diagnostics and studies. The contact person is Ms Sandra Hettinger.
