Thomas Geyer is Reader at LMU’s Department of Psychology (chair of Neuro-Cognitive Psychology) and board member of the Munich Center for Neurosciences – Brain and Mind. He is leading and managing the "Cognitive Neuroscience“ section at LMU’s Neuroimaging Core Unit Munich. He is the head of the teaching and examination committee of the international M.Sc. in „Neuro-Cognitive Psychology“ and offers research-oriented teaching in the Department’s B.Sc. and M.Sc. programs. He has published > 100 research papers on topics in visual perception, selective attention, and memory-related plasticity, addressing, e.g., human participants’ remarkable ability to learn about regularities of the world and map this knowledge with incoming sensory experiences to make rapid and efficient decisions.
