2025 AI-HUB@LMU Prize Winner: Judith Zellner

We are proud to announce the 2025 recipients of the AI-HUB@LMU Prize for the Most Innovative AI-based Research Project.

We are proud to celebrate Judith Zellner from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, as one of the winners of the AI-HUB@LMU Prizes!

Her research proposal, "AI-Generated Simulation for Case-Based Diagnostic Training in Special Education: Structured Click Game vs. Expert Discussion with an AI-Generated Teacher Avatar" has been recognized with the travel support AI-HUB@LMU Prize.

The Jury’s Verdict: “The research project introduces an innovative use of AI-generated avatars to enhance diagnostic training for special education teachers through immersive, interactive simulations. It stands out for its inventive integration of generative AI and educational methodologies by bridging theoretical knowledge and practical application in an ethically sound and scalable manner.
