Diversity Manager

Job Description
As Diversity Manager, you will be the central point of contact for issues relating to equality, anti-discrimination and inclusion, and will make a significant contribution to an open, fair cluster culture. You will design, organise and evaluate mandatory training courses and workshops on diversity, gender equality and awareness. In addition, you will coordinate and further develop existing measures, initiate new programmes (e.g. mentoring, participation models) and act in an advisory capacity in strategic committee processes such as personnel recruitment. In the Cluster Office, you will also support the integration of international, especially non-European, staff into everyday research life and assist with administrative processes.

Early Career Manager

Job Description
In the area of early career support, you will accompany and promote young researchers in their scientific development and work with them to create a learning environment conducive to excellent research. You will work closely with the cluster's doctoral students, represent their interests in the cluster structures and act as an interface between young researchers, postdocs and professors. In cooperation with young scientists, you will develop initiatives, formats and events – from summer schools to international masterclasses – and coordinate their implementation. In addition, you will promote international networking, academic independence and mobility, provide advice before and during stays abroad, and strengthen sustainable cooperation at home and abroad. Finally, you will participate in strategic decisions on the promotion of young researchers and coordinate early-career cooperation within the cluster as well as the alumni network.

Science Communication and Knowledge Transfer Manager

Job Description
As Science Communication and Knowledge Transfer Manager, you will actively shape the cluster's science communication, communicate research results in a way that is tailored to the target audience, and contribute to its visibility in the public sphere. You will further develop publication and communication strategies, implement measures for knowledge transfer within the cluster structures, and promote dialogue with the wider public. In addition, you will maintain relevant research data, highlight key findings and position the cluster in cooperation with partner institutions from science, business and culture. You will develop formats and cooperation projects that also qualify young female scientists for non-academic careers. You will also support networking with external actors such as museums, libraries and companies. In addition, you will contribute your perspective to strategic processes (in an advisory capacity on the Executive Board) and coordinate measures for external representation and network maintenance together with the Cluster Office.

Publication Assistant

Job Description
As a Publication Assistant, you will oversee the cluster's publication processes and support the planning, implementation and visibility of scientific and non-scientific publications. You will contribute to the development and implementation of a digital publication strategy and keep track of existing and new publication channels (online and print). Working closely with researchers, you will prepare publications in terms of content and language – also with regard to translations and an international readership. With organisational skills and editorial expertise, you will ensure that publication projects are realised efficiently and positioned strategically. In addition, you will advise on the selection of suitable formats and platforms and contribute your editorial experience in design, proofreading and layout.
