The Cluster attaches great importance to supporting young researchers in all the disciplines at the project and in all phases of their academic careers. Support covers all important qualification phases of an academic career – from the completion of predoctoral studies, to the PhD, and on to the postdoctoral phase.
In order to ensure excellent research by young researchers, the Cluster promotes a productive and inclusive working environment. Students also have the option of spending a semester abroad during their seven-semester doctoral programme.
During their postdoctoral work at the Cluster, researchers benefit from an open and integrative structure which emphasizes professional development and invites collaboration with PIs across disciplinary boundaries.
