LMU-NTU Joint Seed Funding

The LMU-NTU Joint Seed Funding Program was established in 2024 to strengthen research collaboration between National Taiwan University (NTU) and LMU Munich.

LMU and NTU jointly provide €36,000 (NTD 1,200,000) per year to support up to three selected collaborative projects. Each project can receive funding of up to €12,000 (NTD 400,000).

Call for Proposals

Applications for funding in 2027 are open.

Fundable activities include:

  • Travel and mobility
  • Joint seminars
  • Joint workshops
  • Joint events and conferences

Application deadline: 8 November 2026

Please note

  • Applications should be jointly prepared by the participating LMU and NTU researchers
  • One joint application should be submitted per project
  • Applications must be submitted through the LMU online application portal for Strategic Partnerships
