Expert working group on inclusion and participation (FIT@LMU)

The "Inclusion and Participation" expert working group at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München is dedicated to fostering discussions on inclusion and participation. This working group provides a forum for all interested parties to exchange on their experiences and challenges in this field, as well as to encourage a sense of belonging and equal participation among all members of the university. On February 6, 2024, the members met for the first time for a kick-off meeting and identified initial areas of action.

Our goal is to generate synergies and collaborate on joint projects or initiatives through connecting dedicated individuals within the LMU community. This may include discussing innovative teaching and learning concepts or accessibility measures. Through interdisciplinary dialogue, diverse perspectives can be incorporated, leading to the development of creative solutions.

Further meetings took place in June 2024 and January and July 2025 to discuss topics in depth and plan further steps. A coordination group has been formed from the working group, which is responsible for the content of the meetings and is committed to initiating concrete measures.
