MeCuM family is aimed specifically at pregnant medical students and students with children at the LMU Faculty of Medicine. The service is intended to help answer organisational, legal and practical questions about studying medicine with a child and to provide helpful information for balancing studies and family life.
The most active platform for dialogue between medical students with children is the closed Facebook group MediEltern München.
To help LMU employees balance their heavy workload with caring for relatives in their private lives, LMU, in cooperation with pme Familienservice, offers virtual lectures that specifically address topics such as active family management, stress management, fitness at work, and illness and care needs.
The aim of these lectures is to provide practical tips and strategies for better balancing professional and family demands.
The series of events with links to registration can be found here on the LMU service portal.
