'Understanding the Germans' – An Intercultural Training
- Are you a postdoc at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität who has come from another country?
- Are you interested in intercultural communication but somehow getting into situations where you do not comprehend the behavior and communication style of Germans?
- Do you sometimes feel that differences and misunderstandings get in the way of being able to effectively communicate with others?
If you answered yes to any of the above, you will benefit from our upcoming workshop on intercultural training with focus on Germany. Intercultural competence might be the key to a successful stay in Germany.
The LMU Gateway team therefore cordially invites you to our half-day workshop (in English) on Tuesday, 8 July 2025. - Venue: tbd
- Time: 9:00 am to 12:30 pm followed by a joint lunch (at your own expense)
- Content: Culture & values, analyzing critical incidents, relationship building and communication, best practice
- Target group: postdocs at LMU (minimum 6 and maximum 12 participants)
