Some 30 selected exhibits depicting the history of the Technical University of Munich (TUM) plus items from its current and historical collections will be on display at the Philologicum library from October.
They include Korbinian Aigner’s fruit watercolors, of which the originals will be on show, alongside an architectural model by Francis Kéré and spectacular objects from the field of robotics, such as the arm of a humanoid robot. The objects on display are just a few of the highlights that reflect the unique relationship between science and technology that has been TUM’s stock in trade since its inception in 1868.
