The last Hubertus Reichert exhibition at the CAS several years ago was a huge success. Now, we are privileged to be able to display a new cycle of paintings from the artist’s more recent creative phase. Reichert will present works that grew out of studies on Dante’s Divine Comedy.
Hubertus Reichert studied art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich and at New York University. He lives and works in Munich and Berlin.
The exhibition will be launched with Professor Florian Mehltretter speaking at the vernissage on 26 November 2025. Mehltretter is Professor of Italian Literature at LMU. His research focuses on Italian and French literature from the early modern period.
Since 2008, a series of temporary exhibitions have been held on the premises of the CAS in cooperation with UniGalerieLMU.
A registration is required. For more information, please visit the CAS website.
The Center for Advanced Studies at LMU provides a forum for scientific exchange and discussion that bridges the divide between the established disciplines. Its activities are designed to promote all forms of collaborative research and to stimulate interdisciplinary communication within the University. In addition, it facilitates the integration of visiting scholars and scientists into the academic life of the University.
