Life is a series of possibilities: permanent change, a constant state of limbo and eternally temporary. According to Ena Oppenheimer, it is this imbalance, the hunger for life and longing, which keeps everything in motion. In this exhibition, the artist displays paintings from the cycles ZOON, DARK MATTER and WISHING MACHINES.

Ena Oppenheimer studied at the State Academy of Fine Arts Stuttgart with Heinz Edelmann and Niklaus Troxler. She lives and works in Munich.

Introductory remarks will be provided by Dr. Ingmar Saberi. He is a postdoc at the Arnold Sommerfeld Center for Theoretical Physics at LMU and a researcher in residence at CAS in the winter semester 2023/24.

Since 2008 changing exhibitions take place on the premises of the Center for Advanced Studies in cooperation with the LMU UniversityGallery.

A registration is required. You can find more information on the website of the CAS soon.
