Leah Henderson is Professor of Philosophy of Science at the University of Groningen and currently Visiting Fellow at CAS. Her talk deals with the increasing polarization of societies and analyzes the mechanisms behind it. She will show how Bayesian models can suggest new explanations of what is driving polarization. Such models can also be used to illuminate how we should respond to disagreements more generally.

The lecture is part of the CAS Research Focus “Bayesian Reasoning”.

A registration is required. You can find more information on the CAS website.
