Speaker: Prof. Dr. Raz Chen-Morris | Moderation: Prof. Dr. Kärin Nickelsen (LMU).

Raz Chen-Morris is Professor of History at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. His research focuses on the history of science during the Renaissance, and in particular on Kepler's optics. He is currently working on the role of geometry in the emergence of utopian knowledge in early modern Europe. Since 2020, he has been the director of the Martin Buber Society of Fellows, which is meeting in Munich this summer.
