When the topic of climate protection is discussed, it is always a question of what contribution the various areas of action can make. Many - too many - hopes are placed on land use. - hopes are placed on land use. Land use and its potential for climate protection is also one of the core topics of research at the LMU. Julia Pongratz, who will moderate the evening, is one of the most sought-after scientists in this field and advises national and international committees.
Karlheinz Erb is Professor of Social Ecology and heads the Institute of Social Ecology at the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences, Vienna.
