This event promises an insightful gathering focused on enhancing Psychological Safety in Firms.

The lineup of speakers includes Cordula Pflaum, an experienced aviation captain with extensive experience on training teams on how to foster psychological safety among high-stakes aviation teams. She will share her insights on building trust and safety in environments where the margin for error is minimal.

Simone Häckl will present findings from a recent randomized controlled trial that studies the impact of supportive leadership on promoting open communication within teams. This study, conducted in collaboration with afirm, sheds light on how managerial practices can significantly influence information sharing and team dynamics.

Silvia F. Castro (MSGE LMU) and Stefanie Nickel will discuss an innovative experimental study aimed at enhancing psychological safety through strategic managerial communication. They will offer practical tips for integrating specific content into one-on-one meetings with direct reports, encouraging a culture of experimentation and informed risk-taking.

Ina Goller will round out the session with insights from a study involving micro-interventions across 50 teams in Switzerland. This research offers valuable perspectives on small-scale actions that can lead to significant improvements in team cohesion and psychological safety.
