Film screening and discussion
Director: Nicolas Humbert / Germany/Switzerland (2016), 108 min, OmU
We live in gray cities. Nature is a place we visit. In his travels to Europe and America, Director Nicolas Humbert considers how our way of life separates us from ourselves, from our spirituality, and from a fulfilled existence. Urban gardening is more than a trend for hip urbanites, but teach us about nature through a symphony of landscapes, details, and sounds. Wild Plants is a cinematic meditation through the seasons, a journey back and forward in nature.
A discussion with Nicolas Humbert (director) will follow the screening.
The original version of the film will be shown with English subtitles. The discussion will be held in German. For further information and registration, please visit the website of the Rachel Carson Center.
