Human Motion Project: 8th Virtual Winter Symposium

Opening hours / Beginning:

8:30 am

10 March 2021

The Human Motion Institute
The vision is to improve human health by evidence-based decision support tools for diagnosis and treatment through a better understanding of the specific nature of human motion and its consequences for mind and body. The core of the institute is the development of an open collaborative technology platform for the mobile medical monitoring of human motion. This leads to a biomedical data warehouse for collecting, archiving, analysing, and disseminating human motion data including a library of algorithms. Key underlying scientific areas of computational medicine are: mathematics, physics, biostatistics, biomedical engineering, computer science, and imaging.

Scientific Committee of the symposium:
Martin Daumer, SLC-Human Motion Institute, Trium AnalysisGmbH, TU Munich
Ylva Hellsten, University of Copenhagen, Integrative Physiology, Dept. of Nutrition, Exercise and Sport
Jörn Rittweger, German Aerospace Center (DLR), Head of the Division of Muscle and Bone Metabolism

One of the academic partners is the LMU.

Further information about the symposium, registration closing date is friday february 26th, 2021.
