
Francesca Biagini, Vice President for International Affairs and Diversity, opens Diversity Month 2021 at LMU with a kick-off event on German Diversity Day. In the spirit of this year's motto "WeCare@LMU", the aim of the initiative is to increase awareness of the issues of health and general well-being. The event is also intended as an expression of gratitude to all LMU students and employees for their commitment in these challenging times.
Prof. Dr. Francesca Biagini's opening remarks will be followed by a keynote address given by Prof. Dr. Kristina Åkesson, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Lund University in Sweden. This will be followed by a panel discussion with Prof. Dr. med. Peter Falkai and Prof. Dr. med. Jochen Gensichen, who will discuss the interplay between mental and physical health in more detail.
