The International Research Unit for Multilingualism (IFM) will celebrate its 10th anniversary as a university institution on 23 November 2023.

Since its inception, the IFM has served as a touchpoint between academia and the world of practitioners. In addition to research projects, academic and socially effective events and advanced training courses are being held with cooperation partners and actors representing a broad spectrum of disciplines and institutions.

  • 6 p.m.
    Welcome and subsequent keynote speech on Munich's linguistic diversity by Professor Claudia Maria Riehl (Head of the Institute for German as a Foreign Language and IFM)
  • 7 p.m.
    Language courses in two 30-minute slots each in the main building and in Amalienstraße
  • From 20:15
    Get-together in the atrium

The lecture will be held in German. Prior registration is required for participation in the language courses. For more information, please visit the event website.
