The Biomedical Center (BMC), part of LMU’s Medical Faculty cordially invites to an Open Day on the Martinsried campus. Would you like to see a laboratory from the inside? Look through a microscope? See DNA in a test tube or measure how fast nerves pass on information? Anyone who is keen to experience interactive biomedical research at first hand is welcome.
Insights into current research projects will be provided in brief lectures, at interactive booths with hands-on experiments and in a varied set of guided tours. Visitors will also have the chance to learn about the broad range of career opportunities at BMC – and to talk to international scientists at the information stands. An exciting array of activities will also be laid on for children and youngsters who want to try their hand at arts and crafts, solving puzzles and conducting experiments.
