Public Health Film Festival

The Public Health Film Festival brings together people interested in public, global and planetary health. It encourages participants to adopt different perspectives through the medium of film, to reflect critically and to discuss current public health issues with other interested people and to promote interdisciplinary networking.

The event is organized by the Chair of Public Health and Health Services Research at LMU in cooperation with the Pettenkofer School of Public Health, the Munich Science Communication Lab (MSCL) and the Volkswagen Foundation. The patron of the event is Professor Eva Rehfuess.

    Eine einsame Stadt by Nicola Graef (freely available during the film festival)

    Discussion (online):
    Loneliness and its effects on our mental health with Dr. med Caroline Jung-Sievers (LMU), Dr. rer. biol. hum. Michaela Coenen (LMU), Gabriele Uitz (representative of the Bavarian State Ministry of Health, Care and Prevention) und Nicola Graef (Film director and producer)
