The UN has declared 2025 the International Year of Glaciers’ Preservation. To achieve the urgent goal of learning more about efforts to engineer the cryosphere and opening avenues for transnational exchange, Walter’s project seeks to place scientific approaches in conversation with the intimate knowledge that local populations have of the inner workings of glaciers.
Anna-Maria Walter is CAS Researcher in Residence during the summer semester 2025.
A registration is required. You can find more information on the CAS website.
