Walking Memories: An audio walk

Opening hours / Beginning:

Tue:
4:00 pm

27 June 2023

Venue:

Theaterakademie August Everding, Gartensaal Prinzregentenplatz 12 81675 München

The Walking Memories project conceived by the first year of the master’s degree course in dramaturgy (under the guidance of Professor Barbara Gronau) uses an artistically designed audio walk to transform the 30-year history of Bavaria’s Theaterakademie August Everding (the August Everding Theater Academy) into a living, hands-on experience of theater history.

The project focuses on issues such as the student admissions process, the unique qualities of different rooms, the disappearance of individual teaching and learning formats, recollections of past student projects, what has become of alumni, the presence of international students and questions about the Academy’s future. It thus gives voice to all kinds of people whose life has been or still is bound up in the Theater Academy.

Due to spatial restrictions, we regret that the audio walk is not available as a barrier-free experience. Places to sit and rest have been provided at the individual stops along the way.
