A digital twin is a virtual representation of a person. It is created using health data, which allows treatments to be simulated on a computer before they are actually administered. That sounds like personalized medicine, but it also raises questions: Who owns the digital twin's data? Who decides which treatment is “recommended”? And will everyone really benefit – or only those who are accurately represented?
