The offer specifically addresses the needs of (future) first-generation students. Being the first in the family to embark on the path to university often brings challenges and makes those affected doubt their ability to study. Using interactive methods, the workshop will identify the resources that first-generation students bring with them that can be used in their academic careers.

The goal of the online workshop is to jointly analyze uncertainties before/during studies, to exchange ideas with each other and to encourage each other to use their own potential profitably.

Target group: LMU students, high school students or professionally qualified persons with a desire to study who come from a non-academic home or whose parents did not study in Germany.

The workshop is an offer of the Central Student Advisory Service.

The workshop will be held in German. Registration via e-mail with the subject Anmeldung Workshop "Als Erster oder Erste in der Familie studieren!" is required. For more information, visit the Support Offer website.
