Nomination: Information for partner universities

Students who wish to study at LMU within the framework of a partnership agreement (Erasmus+, UK, SEMP, or LMUexchange) must be officially nominated by the departmental coordinators or the International Office of their home university by the deadline given below.

Please use the online form for Erasmus+/UK/SEMP students or the online form for LMUexchange students respectively to nominate exchange students, and type in the first and last name of your students without accents.
Please note that LMU cannot accept free-mover students.

Students should be nominated for the subject area defined in the agreement. If the agreement is a faculty-wide one, students should be nominated either for their major or minor subject, which they study at their home university.
Students have to take a minimum of 60% of their courses at LMU in the subject area they are nominated in.

After reviewing the received nomination, the LMU International Office will send information about the online application directly to the nominated students.

Language skills

All nominated students should have a German language level of B1 at the time of nomination and B2 by the time they commence their studies at LMU. The same language requirements apply to English if English language courses are to be attended. Some courses require students to have proficiency at level C1 - see language skills section for further details.
