The Study Information Service (SIS) is a joint institution of the Office of the University Registrar and the Central Student Advisory Office.
News for prospective students: The Office of the University Registrar, the Central Student Advisory Office and the International Office keep you informed on important deadlines and pending events.
On Friday, 22 October 2021, the Study Information Service is closed due to in-house training. We will answer your calls again on Monday, 25 October 2021.
Just give us a call!
The Study Information Service (SIS) is the first place to contact if you have questions about studying at LMU. You can get in touch by phone or chat or using our online form.
We are happy to book an individual consultation appointment with one of our advisors for you. At the moment consulations take place online via Zoom or over the phone.

Inquiries concerning personal data
We can only answer inquiries that involve your personal data (e.g. "Have I been exmatriculated?") if you are clearly identifiable. Please note that to do so we'll need your:
- Registration number
- Date of birth
- The correct answer to your security question. You can activate your security question for telephone inquiries via your LMU user account (in German).
Before you pick up the phone, be sure to check out the pages in our ABC Study Guide and ABC Guide for Prospective Students. Maybe you'll be able to answer your own questions. Of course, if that's not the case, get in touch. We're here to help.
