Academic counseling (at faculty level)

At LMU, academic counseling is available spanning all faculties and is usually provided by members of the faculty's teaching staff.

Our academic advisors are here to provide you with comprehensive answers to all your specific questions regarding course content, and examination requirements, as well as structuring and organizing your studies.

In addition to this, the academic counseling team — in cooperation with the Examination Office — is responsible for the recognition of achievements gained outside of your respective degree program (such as achievements from another degree program or a different university altogether).

In the documents listed below you will find the academic advisors assigned to the various faculties with their respective office hours and who to contact for questions concerning examinations.

Unless otherwise stated, our academic counseling services listed are only responsible for undergraduate programs and their corresponding faculties. More information about academic counseling for Master's and postgraduate degree programs can be found on the respective institute's web page.
