This year's GSN Scientific Retreat took place at the Youth Hostel in Bad Tölz from Friday, October 10th to Sunday, October 12th.
GSN members and affiliates gathered for 3 days of talks, exchange, and interaction at the foothills of the Alps. With student talks, faculty lectures, and posters, the event was a highlight before the new semester started on October 13th. The social components rounded up the schedule, featuring a film screening, followed by a discussion, and activities such as archery, hiking, board games, and sports.
