All information about the CMS Fiona and the transition to the new WCMS FirstSpirit
Since 2021, Crownpeak's WCMS FirstSpirit has been used at LMU, replacing Fiona.
Therefore , it is no longer possible to create new websites in Fiona. Existing websites in Fiona may be modified on a transitional basis until they are migrated to the new WCMS FirstSpirit by the web editors.

Do I have to switch to FirstSpirit?
The operation and support of Fiona will be gradually scaled back and discontinued, and replaced by FirstSpirit.
FirstSpirit also complies with LMU requirements regarding corporate design, legal requirements, security standards, and accessibility guidelines.
All LMU institutions are strongly encouraged to use the university's central services.
Can data be transferred automatically from Fiona to FirstSpirit?
Some structured data (e.g., personal contacts) can be transferred semi-automatically. In principle, a 1:1 transfer of your website is not recommended.
Take advantage of the new possibilities offered by FirstSpirit to evaluate and redesign your website!

Can only part of my Fiona website be converted?
No, because the entire website is always taken offline from Fiona. It is not possible to move only part of the content or even continue to link to parts of your old website.
The entire website must be moved to FirstSpirit.
