Scientific Events & Conferences

The center organizes and hosts scientific seminars and events that aim to unify disciplines and build knowledge in the emerging field of Geoastronomy, while also supporting exoplanet science and research via established summer schools and conference series.

Related Scientific Events at LMU

The Center supports and co-organizes events in cooperation with the Chair of Theoretical Astrophysics of Extrasolar Planets at the University Observatory (USM) and the Chair of Magmatic Petrology and Volcanology within the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the LMU.

Related Scientific Events and Information about ERC SyG Partners

The Center also supports events within the ERC Geoastronomy Project - with nodes based in Munich (Heng) and Bayreuth (Mojzsis), Germany and Orleans (Gaillard, France)

Public Outreach Events & Exhibitions in Munich

While rooted in Geoastronomy, we recognize that all scientific inquiry deepens our understanding of our place within the cosmos. To advance this vision, we support public outreach events led by LMU and MCGA members, and visibility for related educational initiatives and science exhibitions at LMU and Munich.
