Digitalization at LMU
We view digitalization as an enabling factor for excellence in research, teaching, and administration.
Digitalization at LMU
For LMU, digitalization is an opportunity to further strengthen its position as an internationally renowned university of excellence, with a clear focus on delivering tangible added value for students, faculty, researchers, and administrative staff. Digital solutions streamline processes, reduce bureaucracy, and free up time for core tasks.
User-friendliness and security are key prerequisites for digital transformation at LMU. Clear, understandable regulations build trust. In addition, training programs, continuing education opportunities, and transparent information help raise awareness of the opportunities offered by new technologies.
Digitalization is not an end in itself, but rather an enabler of excellence in research, teaching, and administration. I am committed to user-friendly, reliable IT applications that enhance efficiency, and to innovative solutions that effectively support the diverse needs of LMU.Prof. Dr. Julia Dittrich, Vice President of Digital Strategies
