campusLMU – the new Campus Management System
campusLMU is LMU’s new integrated campus management system. It supports students, teaching staff, and administration in all core processes related to academic studies—from application to graduation.
campusLMU — what is it?
With campusLMU, LMU is modernizing its campus management: Starting in December 2026, major changes will be implemented, including a digital student application process.
As the central campus management system, campusLMU will in the future consolidate the most important digital processes related to applications, studies, and graduation onto a single platform. Previously separate processes and systems will be integrated, simplifying the administration of academic programs and teaching in the long term. In this way, campusLMU lays the foundation for a user-friendly and future-proof digital administration of academic programs and teaching.

campusLMU combines various principles to map and manage the entire student lifecycle using a modern standard.
One login for all features
Whereas multiple logins were previously required, campusLMU combines all central functions into a single platform with a single sign-on. Relevant information is made available to all authorized users in one place. This helps avoid redundant or conflicting information.
Paperless by Design
campusLMU helps reduce the use of paper forms and informational materials. Bureaucratic and administrative processes—such as submitting documents, obtaining signatures, and so on—are significantly streamlined. The digitization of the academic process is thus also a step toward sustainability and security.
Networked Systems
To enable students, faculty, and staff to work as seamlessly as possible, campusLMU is integrated with LMU’s central applications. These include, among others, Moodle and the EvaSys evaluation software. Additional interfaces to teaching and administrative applications will be added gradually.
In the future, campusLMU is also intended to enable integration with the campus management systems of other universities, thereby facilitating collaboration—particularly in joint degree programs—such as those with the Technical University of Munich (TUM).
Information on the Implementation
Introductions and training sessions are planned to prepare LMU employees for working with campusLMU. In addition, regular town hall meetings will provide updates on the project’s progress and offer an opportunity to ask questions. Employees can check the service portal for news about campusLMU and subscribe to the internal newsletter.
Students will receive all important information regarding the launch of campusLMU in a timely manner.
