The LMU Diversity Calendar is designed to raise awareness of diversity and foster appreciation for different perspectives and backgrounds. Its goal is to coordinate activities, promote synergies, and increase the visibility of issues such as anti-discrimination, equality, inclusion, and participation.
Some of our diversity events overlap thematically, so it’s worth checking out the events across all categories!
In conjunction with German Diversity Day on May 19, 2026, LMU Munich offered exciting guided tours and city walks during the summer semester of 2026. The tours focused on topics such as diversity, raising awareness, and queer life in Munich. These events were open to all members of the LMU community.
Due to the great success of the city walks and guided tours during the summer semester of 2026, the event series will continue in the winter semester of 2026/27. Exciting events are already in the works!
