The Vice President for International Affairs and Diversity, Prof. Dr. Francesca Biagini, invites the LMU community as well as the general public to the kick-off event of this year's Diversity Initiative. Renowned scientists and international guests from different disciplines will demonstrate the relevance of gender and diversity aspects in research during the event.

The number of participants is limited. We can only accept the first 120 participants. Registration by form.

To the registration
The LMU organizing team would like to make it possible for everyone who is interested to participate in the event. It is important to us that all participants can enjoy the event together.
There are barrier-free entrances to the Great Aula. A sufficient number of free seats for wheelchair users in the event room are available. Seats are also reserved for accompanying persons. For more information on accessibility in LMU buildings at the various locations, please see the LMU Room Finder (in German only).
The event language for the opening ceremony is English. For persons with hearing impairments, the event will be accompanied by a script interpreter who will transcribe the spoken word live in the event language.
Bring Your Own Device
People with a hearing impairment can use their own device (laptop, tablet, smartphone) to connect to the script interpreter via the WLAN using a platform and read along with the spoken word in real time. We will provide detailed instructions shortly before the event.
