Old photos, a treasure trove full to the brim with clothing, doctoral dissertations from the 1970s, innumerable books: A lot of stuff has accumulated over the course of the institute’s 100-year history.
Is this art, or can we throw it away?
Students at twm tell the institute’s story from the perspective of all these items—from the old door sign of the studio stage to course catalogs and even Bertolt Brecht’s student ID card. The objects in the exhibition tell visitors about student life, the productions performed on the studio stage and milestones in research and teaching.
The exhibition opens with a vernissage at 5 p.m. on Sunday, 21 June.
Guided tours of the exhibition will be on offer on the following dates:
- Thur., 25 June, from 3:30 to 5 p.m.
- Fri., 26 June, from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
