Good Teaching Day at LMU Munich is designed to foster LMU-wide discussion around innovative teaching and to help forge links between teaching staff across the boundaries of individual disciplines.

With this objective in mind, Professor Katja Radon (LMU) will deliver a lecture entitled "Good teaching sans frontières: Blended learning for international, interdisciplinary and personalized educational paths".

In the course of the event, the LMU research prizes for excellent students and the LMU teaching innovation prizes will be presented. The awards ceremony will be hosted by the Study and Tuition Committee and Professor Oliver Jahraus, Vice President Tuition. The Münchener Universitätsgesellschaft, MUG (Munich University Society) will be represented by Professor Peter Höppe.

    Welcome address and introduction by Professor Oliver Jahraus, Vice President Tuition
  • 2:25 - 2:55 p.m.:
    Lecture by Professor Katja Radon, Chairwoman of the LMU Center for International Health at Munich University Hospital
  • 2:55 - 5:00 p.m.:
    Awards ceremony
  • From 5:00 p.m.:

Music to accompany the event will be provided by Carlota Amado (piano) and Iason Keramidis (violin; deputy concert master at the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra)

Good Teaching Day 2024 can only be attended in person. If you wish to attend this event in person, you are required to register.
